| Fresh out of college, Christina (Claudia Karvan) lands her first teaching job at a high school located in a tough part of Melbourne. Feeling enthusiastic about the challenge, Christina wins over the students by rallying them to start a school soccer team. Meanwhile, as she grows dissatisfied with her finance-obsessed fiancé (Steve Bastoni), she becomes involved in a controversial romance with her charming student Nick (Alex Dimitriades), despite the protests of her family and coworkers.
