| A wrong-way driver causes several accidents on the highway, causing convicted hostage-taking gangster Walter Fromm to flee. He has a clear target: the house of his former girlfriend Lisa Bertram, who was involved in a bank robbery. Fromm wants to flee with her, but Lisa refuses to flee. While the police follow the trail, a dramatic race against time ensues. Fromm forces Lisa to flee, and the investigators discover the connection between her and the gangster - but they are too late when Fromm reaches the airport. | |
